What is the attire?

For the welcome party, the attire is “dressy casual”. For the ceremony, we request"Black Tie Optional.”  Men can wear tuxedos or suits. Women can opt for formal evening gowns or cocktail dresses.  

Are Children Welcome?

We kindly request that our special day be reserved for adults only. We can't wait to celebrate with you!

What is the best way to get there?

Shuttles will be organized to take guests to the wedding venue from the Willow Point Villas. The shuttle schedule will be released closer to the event.  These shuttles will also be available following the ceremony to take you to the reception and later back to the Villas. 

To the Ceremony at the Children’s Harbor Chapel on Lake Martin, 434 Children’s Harbor Drive, Eclectic, AL 36024: 

From Willow Point Villas: 

Exit through the guard house and take the second exit off the circle (Willow Point Cutoff Rd) and go 2 miles. Turn right onto AL 63S and go 5.5 miles, crossing the Kowaliga Bridge over Lake Martin and turn left onto Children’s Harbor Drive. The Chapel will be on the left. 

From Birmingham: 

Take US 280E to Sylacauga. From Sylacauga, drive 23 miles. Turn Right onto Elkahatchee Rd and go 8.5 miles to AL 63S. Drive 7.5 miles across the Kowaliga Bridge over Lake Martin and turn left onto Children’s Harbor Drive. The Chapel will be on the left. 

From Atlanta:

From Interstate 85, exit at Opelika and take US 280W towards Dadeville. From Dadeville, drive 10 miles to Coven Abbett Highway (AL 128 W) and turn left. Continue on AL 128 for 5.5 miles. Turn left onto AL 63S and drive nearly 10 miles crossing the Kowaliga Bridge over Lake Martin and turn left onto Children’s Harbor Drive. The Chapel will be on the left. 

From The Ceremony to the Reception at SpringHouse, 12 Benson Mill Rd, Alexander City, AL 35010 : about 3 miles, 6 minutes

As you exit Children’s Harbor, turn right onto US 63N. Turn Left onto Russell Farms Rd (look for the windmill) and go 500ft. Turn right onto Benson Mill Rd and go 0.2 miles.

Is there a shuttle?

Rare Transportation will provide a shuttle schedule closer to the event.
